The engagement

Your people know the business. We help build a better way to run it.

A hands-on partnership rather than a handover. We work with leadership and the people doing the job, deliver usable capability early, and keep improving it with the feedback that real use produces.

The engagement

Your people know the business. We help build a better way to run it.

  1. 01

    Understand how work happens today

We sit with the people doing the job, not only the org chart. What gets written twice, what gets chased, where the real decisions happen.

  2. 02

    Identify bottlenecks and unnecessary steps

Steps that exist because a system needed them, not because the business does. Those are the first to go.

  3. 03

    Design improved workflows together

We propose, your team reacts, and we settle on a process people will actually follow — before anything is built.

  4. 04

Prepare data and connect existing systems

Cleaning, mapping and migrating what you already hold, and building the connections to the platforms you are keeping.

  5. 05

    Build and test the solution

Developed in a dedicated environment with testing against the scenarios your business actually runs.

  6. 06

    Guide rollout and employee adoption

Training, documentation and a staged rollout so people gain a tool rather than inherit a project.

  7. 07

    Refine capabilities using real feedback

The first version is never the last. What employees tell us after two weeks of use shapes what we build next.

Abstract light particles converging into a single braided stream

You don't need to arrive with a perfect specification.

Most companies know what frustrates them long before they can describe the system that would fix it. That is the normal starting point, and guiding you through it is part of the work. Our IT professionals and business process experts do the translating between how your business runs and what gets built.

Part of the build, not an extra

  • Reliability designed in, with monitoring and recovery considered up front.
  • Permissions modelled around roles and departments before features are built.
  • Testing against the scenarios your business actually runs.
  • Regular backups, with restoration tested rather than assumed.
  • Maintainable code and documentation, so another team could pick it up.

We take security requirements seriously and design for them deliberately. We do not offer absolute guarantees, and we would be cautious of anyone who does.

Early value, continued improvement

10 DAYS

Your first usable features are ready within 10 business days after you provide the required initial details and data.

To be precise about it: that is the first working capability in your employees' hands. It is not a promise to complete an entire custom system in ten days — a custom Business OS keeps growing long after that first release.

Step 01

Discover

We learn how the work happens now — with the people who do it, not just the people who describe it.

Step 02

Prepare

Your initial details and data are gathered, cleaned and mapped so the first features have something real to run on.

Step 03

Start using

Working capability lands in your team's hands and starts removing steps immediately.

Step 04

Improve together

Feedback from actual use sets the next priorities. New capability is added while existing capability is refined.

Employees use practical tools early rather than waiting for a finished system. Each release is shaped by what they tell us after using the last one, which is why the tenth version fits the business far better than any specification written on day one could have.

Two ways to build

Choose the shape of the engagement.

Both models put the same people on your business. The difference is whether the work continues indefinitely against a shared priority list, or delivers a defined scope and finishes.

Ongoing Evolution

The system keeps growing with the business.

  • A term-based engagement with flat monthly billing.
  • Includes the system, hosting, and continuous development and improvement.
  • Direct collaboration with your employees and our business process experts.
  • A shared priority list and an agreed development scope and capacity.
  • The system changes as the business changes, release after release.

Defined Project

An agreed scope, delivered and finished.

  • An agreed scope and a project price.
  • A system built for defined requirements.
  • Hands-on discovery, implementation and rollout.
  • A clear project finish.
  • Further development can be scoped separately when you want it.

True of both

  • You own the resulting code and data.
  • No per-user fees for BOS.
  • Ongoing hosting, backups, support and core updates carry a flat monthly service fee.
  • That service is included during an active evolution engagement and billed separately afterwards; for a defined project it accompanies the project as an ongoing service.
  • Any third-party subscriptions or usage-based costs — AI, SMS, email, storage — are identified separately.

To be clear about the limits: neither model is unlimited development, and the core maintenance service covers running the system rather than building unlimited new features. Development capacity is agreed with you, in writing, before it starts.

Ownership, privacy and control

Built for your company. Owned by your company.

You own the source code

The system we build for your company belongs to your company. Not licensed to you — yours.

You own your data

Everything your business records in the system is yours, in a structure you can read.

You can download and export

Take the code and export the data whenever you want it, not only when an agreement ends.

You can move or change developer

Move hosting elsewhere or hand the work to another team. We write maintainable code partly so that stays realistic.

Ownership continues afterwards

When the engagement ends, the system does not. What you own, you keep.

A dedicated environment

Each system runs in its own environment rather than sharing one with other companies.

Hosting can potentially include hardware in your own office where that suits how you work. We discuss the practical options with you during design rather than assuming one arrangement, and we do not invent infrastructure specifications before we understand the requirement.

Permissions and security requirements are considered during design, not bolted on afterwards: who should see what, what needs approving, what must be recorded. We take those requirements seriously and we avoid absolute guarantees, because nobody can honestly make them.

Final invitation

What would your business look like with fewer steps?

Tell us about the systems that don't talk to each other, the process that still runs on a spreadsheet, the report someone rebuilds every month. That conversation is how every Business OS we build starts.
